Coloplast takes pride in providing superior quality products to ensure patient health as well as the highest production standards. A sterility test on Coloplast ‘Trident Catheter Valve’ has failed, which raises concerns over the sterility of the catheter valves. Coloplast Pty Ltd has therefore decided, after consultation with the Therapeutic Goods Administration, to recall the item.

Coloplast has not received any complaints on the catheter valve related to this issue, and to date no additional risks have been identified as a result of the use of the above lot numbers.

Customers affected by this recall are kindly advised to call our customer service number so that we can arrange for your stock to be recovered and replacement stock, or a credit note, issued.
