Coloplast Care (Ostomy)

Content in the Coloplast Ostomy Care program was originally developed by US stoma nurses according to the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society™ (WOCN) Standards of Care.

The content has since been re-written to meet World Council of Enterostomal Therapists (WCET) Standards of Care by WCET certified nurses at Coloplast in close co-operation with the Coloplast Ostomy Forum (COF) nurses in Australia.

The Ostomy Care content is continuously evaluated to meet today’s recommendations. New content is developed by our WCET certified nurses at Coloplast in co-operation with COF and a panel of experts within exercise, dietary, health care and surgery in the UK and Australia.

The personal stories are written by people living with an ostomy, who would like to share how they have learned to adjust their daily life. They have all given their consent to share their stories globally.
