About me: Hi, I'm Claire. I initially had an ileostomy following my ULAR surgery for stage 3C bowel cancer in 2022. This was reversed in 2023, but it soon became apparent that I had fistulas, and I received a colostomy in 2024. I have traveled to 12 countries and lead a fairly active life, which includes regular swimming and enjoying saunas with "Colin." I use a two-piece Coloplast device because I prefer to wash it out every day; I find it easier to replace just the bag rather than the entire device each day.
