      About me: Hi, I'm Emma. I have been living with Ulcerative Colitis (UC) since I was 12 years old. At 38, I made the life-changing decision to become an ostomate, and it has truly transformed my life in ways I never thought possible. Now, after 8 years as an ostomate, I can confidently say that I have a quality of life I once only dreamed of.
