Peristeen® Light – from now on there’s a choice

Peristeen Light is a low-volume TAI system that is designed to help manage faecal incontinence and/or constipation conditions. It is designed to be easy to use, both at home and on the go. Small and convenient has always been the big idea behind Peristeen Light. However, people are different, and different bowel needs call for personalised options. Peristeen Light (250 ml) can also be used with an additional extension tube for extra flexibility, so you can choose what is right for you.

Low-volume transanal irrigation (TAI) involves using a hand-held device to introduce water into the bowel via the rectum. This instillation of water helps to promote the evacuation of stool from the rectum.

How does Peristeen Light work?

Peristeen light has a single-use catheter that is ready to use right after activating the coating.

Peristeen Light comes with a one-way valve, designed to prevent any backflow whilst you irrigate.

Peristeen Light is available in a 250ml container that is designed to be easy-to-hold-and-squeeze.

Do you want extra flexibility?

You may also choose to use Peristeen Light (250 ml) with an extension tube. This may provide extra flexibility, and allow you to perform your irrigation in a way that is right for you. Both ends of the tube have the same connector so it can be intuitively attached between the catheter and lid of your Peristeen Light.
