Scholarship Application Guidelines:
Applications must be with Coloplast by 5pm on the 28th February 2014. All applications will then be sent together to the AASTN executive for impartial judging. A decision will be made at the AASTN AGM on March 21st, 2014. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
A copy of the “Coloplast E-Learning Centre” certificate of completion endorsed by your state Coloplast representative (estimated time to complete is 1 hour). A completed Educational Scholarship application form available from www.coloplast.com.au/Mio-Scholarship, written verification from your employer that you are able to be released to attend the conference and abide by your “Health Care Professional Code of Ethics”. Letter of motivation (How will I benefit from participating in WCET). Upon returning to Australia / New Zealand the winner of the Educational scholarship will also be required to:
Complete a submission for the Journal of Stomal Therapy Australia / The Outlet NZ. This may include but is not limited to, a product review, a case study, research project, book review, reflective practice or literature review by January 2015. Complete a presentation via webinar in conjunction with Coloplast, reflecting on key learning’s from the WCET conference (September 2014).
Scholarship applications open from 1st December 2013 until 28th February 2014.
Your local Coloplast representative will visit you to complete various modules from the “Coloplast E-Learning Centre”. Once you have completed these modules you will then be able to register for the Scholarship. Applications must be sent to au.care@coloplast.com.
